H and Bmo for Certain Locally Doubling Metric Measure Spaces of Finite Measure

چکیده
In a previous paper the authors developed a H−BMO theory for unbounded metric measure spaces (M, ρ, μ) of infinite measure that are locally doubling and satisfy two geometric properties, called “approximate midpoint” property and “isoperimetric” property. In this paper we develop a similar theory for spaces of finite measure. We prove that all the results that hold in the infinite measure case have their counterparts in the finite measure case. Finally, we show that the theory applies to a class of unbounded, complete Riemannian manifolds of finite measure and to a class of metric measure spaces of the form (R, ρφ, μφ), where dμφ = e dx and ρφ is the Riemannian metric corresponding to the length element ds = (1+|∇φ|)( dx 1 +· · ·+ dx d ). This generalizes previous work of the last two authors for the Gauss space.

A Framework for Non-homogeneous Analysis on Metric Spaces, and the Rbmo Space of Tolsa
A new class of metric measure spaces is introduced and studied. This class generalises the well-established doubling metric measure spaces as well as the spaces (R, μ) with μ(B(x, r)) ≤ Cr, in which non-doubling harmonic analysis has recently been developed. It seems to be a promising framework for an abstract extension of this theory. Tolsa’s space of regularised BMO functions is defined in th...
متن کاملBoundedness of Littlewood-Paley Operators Associated with Gauss Measures
Modeled on the Gauss measure, the authors introduce the locally doubling measure metric space X, d, μ ρ, which means that the set X is endowed with a metric d and a locally doubling regular Borel measure μ satisfying doubling and reverse doubling conditions on admissible balls defined via the metric d and certain admissible function ρ. The authors then construct an approximation of the identity...
متن کاملFunctions on Localized BMO Spaces over Doubling Metric Measure Spaces
Let X be a doubling metric measure space. In this paper, the authors introduce the notions of Property (M̃) and Property (P ) of X , prove that Property (M̃) implies Property (P ) and give some equivalent characterizations of Property (M̃) and Property (P ). If X has Property (P ), the authors then establish the boundedness of the Lusin-area function, which is defined via kernels modeled on the se...
متن کاملBmo for Nondoubling Measures
1. Introduction. The Calderón-Zygmund theory of singular integrals has been traditionally considered with respect to a measure satisfying a doubling condition. Recently, Tolsa [T] and, independently, Nazarov, Treil, and Volberg [NTV] have shown that this standard doubling condition was not really necessary. Likewise, in the homogeneous spaces setting, functions of bounded mean oscillation, BMO,...
متن کاملBmo on Spaces of Homogeneous Type: a Density Result on C-c Spaces
In the general setting of a space of homogeneous type endowed with an Ahlfors regular measure, we introduce the Banach spaces BMO and V MO defined through suitable cubes, and we prove that these spaces are topologically equivalent to the standard ones usually defined by means of balls. Through this fact we extend a known result of Sarason showing that C∞ is locally dense in V MO in the setting ...
